Lab Hours

Nothing like waiting to the last minute to complete the weekly log. I hoped if I drug it out I could get some more time in, but as Dr. C said yesterday, soon enough I will have many hours to make up the difference. I started the week with an extra 45 mins of class time for the Shanks lecture. I then logged two hours in the museum yesterday helping to edit and print documents, trying to put some on foam board, throwing out trash and generally getting in the way. I spent a total of 45 mins on the blogs this week, mainly reading others and making small comments. I then finished with reading the Shanks assignment which took a total of 2 hours 30 mins over two days.

Total hours: 6 hours

wow, now that I add it all up, I actually completed my time.

Lab Hours

I know I always say this, but what a crazy week. My daughter has been sick since last Friday and I had to stay home with her the last 2 days because she had a fever. She still has a horrible cough, but I am leaving her with a friend so I can make it to school tomorrow. I am really looking forward to the lecture, but I'm not happy about having to leave at 2:50 to make it to my next class at 3 pm. I would skip out on it, but I missed class on Monday due to the above. This week I spent 40 mins on the blogs. I spent 6 hours working on my portion of the museum exhibit. I also spent 1 hour and 20 mins reading the Shank assignment, which I loved. I was thinking about bringing my book to have it signed tomorrow, but I have to leave before the lecture is over. Maybe I can get one of my team mates to get it signed for me.

I have been sleeping on the couch with my daughter the last two night, so she can sleep upright to keep her chest clear. I am doing so again tonight, but it is killing my back and neck. I could really use a massage. I did get a break tonight while hubby watched her and I went to get my nails done. Looking forward to reentering the real world tomorrow. See you all at the lecture.

Lab Hours

Another crazy but somewhat productive week. I really enjoyed meeting my group. Team 4 is focused, motivated and just as anally detailed orientated as I am. We are a great fit. Our group spent 3 hours working together on the focus and content of our portion of the exhibit. I was able to spend 20 mins in the group meeting with Dr. C narrowing down our ideas. I also found time to visit blogs and post on other blogs for a total of an hour this week. I completed this weeks reading in 40 mins. Finally, I rounded out the week working 3 hours on completing our story board, which included online research and downloads. It is now 11 pm, and I will try and get a hour of reading in for another class tomorrow. Good night class!

Lab Hours

I really liked completing the Deed of Gift project this week. It was fun and allowed Miranda and I to be creative and humorous. I also enjoyed the guest speaker last week. Dr. Johnson was no holds bar when it came to speaking about the problems and concerns with the CSUS museum. I loved his frankness about the situation, and could empathize with his frustrations. Below is my hours for the week, itemized by task.

I spent a total of 3 hours catching up on all my back reading (I am thankfully caught up with the syllabus). I also spent a total of 2.5 hours blogging (including meeting with Carrie to fix my page and learn how to use the RSS feed). I spent a total of 2 hours working on the Deed of Gift project, which included meeting with my partner, communicating via email, and actually getting it on paper.

Total hours completed: 7.5 hours
